Mission

The Senior Manager – RF Planning will manage and coordinate all RF/BSS planning activities across designated regions, ensuring cost-effective design, planning, and improvement of radio base station coverage and capacity. This role is critical to achieving MTN Nigeria’s annual network rollout objectives and supporting marketing and business plans.

You will also oversee the implementation of new business initiatives such as collocation and infrastructure sharing, while aligning regional RF planning requirements with MTN’s central strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Approve high-level BTS site and radio base station designs via integrated planning processes.

• Review nominal RF network plans for coverage and capacity against marketing forecasts.

• Track and monitor radio network dimensioning, performance, and KPIs.

• Ensure compliance with best practices in planning and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Manage radio network design to support subscriber growth forecasts.
