Job Description
PayOak is hiring a Customer Support & User Success Intern to help deliver exceptional experiences to users by handling inquiries, onboarding new customers, and contributing to user education initiatives. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals interested in customer experience, fintech operations, and user success.
About the Role
You will work closely with the Customer Experience and Operations teams, gaining hands-on exposure to how support functions within a fast-growing fintech startup.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support

Respond to customer inquiries via approved communication channels.

Help users understand PayOak’s products and processes.

Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members.
-
Contribute to a professional, customer-focused support experience.
User Onboarding & Education
-
Support new users during onboarding.
-
Guide customers through account setup and platform usage.
-
Assist in creating educational resources, guides, and FAQs.
-
Encourage adoption of PayOak features and services.
Customer Experience Monitoring
-
Collect feedback and identify recurring issues.
-
Track user satisfaction and support trends.
-
Monitor interactions and share insights with the team.
-
Suggest improvements to enhance user experience.
Support Operations & Reporting

Maintain support records and documentation.
-
Track support tickets and resolution progress.

Assist in preparing customer support reports.
-
Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Requirements
-
Must be 30 years old or younger.
-
Graduated from a tertiary institution in 2022 or later.
-
Completed the NYSC programme.
-
Available for the full 12-month internship.
