Applications are now open for the Barbara Huber Scholarship Program 2027. This prestigious scholarship supports a research stay at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security, and Law for a period of two to six months.
The program honors the legacy of Barbara Huber, an exceptional legal scholar and specialist in English law and the broader common law system. Despite the challenges faced by female academics in the 1960s, she made significant contributions to comparative criminal law, particularly through her doctoral thesis on the criminalization of attempt in German and American law.
Scholarship Benefits
